Adjusted the chain. Cleaned off the bugs. Checked the rear tire for weirdness (cuts and stuff). Checked the tire pressure.

I put the baffle back in the Delkevic. It's been out for a couple of weeks. I felt like a teenage terrorist making so much racket with the baffle out. It was a little loose, so I drilled two 1/8" holes in the baffle that line up with the supports in the muffler. I put two pop rivets in the holes to tighten up the fit to the inside of the can. It's nice and tight, now.

So, now when I commute to work on the canyon road all my neighbors take to get to the main highway, I won't feel so self conscious passing them because I won't be blowing their eardrums out.

Jeopardy... that is a nice looking tank you got now... post some pics when you get it on, I'd love to see the final product. How much did the carbon fiber run you?
Toran

Repaired my tank from a drop and a couple crashes last and this year.

yesterday- but I didn't get back till today....

Friend helped me do change out the fork oil (stiffer oil yeah me) and bleed my brakes and adjust the clip ons a little bit.

THANK GOD- made a huge difference- even with those little things. very happy with the hundred mile spin we took today. :)

slab back was boring- so that 150 doesn't count.

I bought a 50" wide x 36" long piece for $26 and paid $30 for the resin and hardener. The carbon is nice 2x2 twill. Good quality stuff. About 2 hours to prep the tank, bondo the dents and scratches and resin the fiber, lay the carbon, and throw some more resin on top. I just need to wet sand the resin and then I will put it back on. After I run it for a bit I will throw a clear coat over top of it just to enhance it. I cannot take all the credit as I did have some help from a board member on here.

Sta-bil and put it in storage for the winter. Its getting cold. Brrrrrrr
Good reason why I'm glad I live where I do. Don't think I could handle not riding her for a whole season. Last time I went for four days I had the shakes...lol. Withdrawals suck!

Purchased new tail plastics, Battlax BT-016 tires, flush front signals, and possibly buying a TL1000s front end.

Stocking up on some parts for a winter project. I still new a hugger/chain guard and some new mirrors.

made a new license plate/taillight bracket

filled it up for the second time since I balanced my carbs and my mileage is 40mpg gain instead of my usual 46-50. Not sure if it's cuz I'm enjoying the smoothness so much I'm goosing it more or what...gonna TRY to ride normally for this next tank...lol Could also be because I'm on disability so it doesn't see the freeway more than once every 2 weeks.
