Just thought this would be a cool new topic. If there is already one in existence please let me know so I can delete this one, or a mod can do it. As for me I finished my under tail project and rode the crap out of it.
Repaired my tank from a drop and a couple crashes last and this year.

I bought a 50" wide x 36" long piece for $26 and paid $30 for the resin and hardener. The carbon is nice 2x2 twill. Good quality stuff. About 2 hours to prep the tank, bondo the dents and scratches and resin the fiber, lay the carbon, and throw some more resin on top. I just need to wet sand the resin and then I will put it back on. After I run it for a bit I will throw a clear coat over top of it just to enhance it. I cannot take all the credit as I did have some help from a board member on here.Jeopardy... that is a nice looking tank you got now... post some pics when you get it on, I'd love to see the final product. How much did the carbon fiber run you?

Good reason why I'm glad I live where I do. Don't think I could handle not riding her for a whole season. Last time I went for four days I had the shakes...lol. Withdrawals suck!Sta-bil and put it in storage for the winter. Its getting cold. Brrrrrrr
