I just installed my motosliders for bikes with factory lower fairings and am I happy with the fit! Suzuki should have offered these in the first place. I also added 1 in. spacers for the mirrors making cars behind actually show up in the mirror!
I also dressed up the fairings with a couple of Suzuki decals.
I love this bike!

ON sat I mounted my flush front turn signals and am now waiting on my integrated mirrors to come in. I also removed the rear shovel and put on my temporary fender eliminator till I get the new one in. Put on my short stalk rear turnsignals too.

This weekend if there is nice weather will give me time for the smoked windscreen and the lower fairings...

Mounted a set of free fog lamps. Why fogs, because I do a lot of early morning riding and some areas have no light and I wanted more light through my turns .

I just got my Givi e52 topcase delivered today! As soon as I got home, I got on the project of installing it. Aside from a couple of small scratches on the rack and one of the brackets bent a little too much, it went together pretty easily. I got the brake light kit with it as well, so now I feel so much safer having extra brake lights behind me. The only thing I need to do now is get mirror extenders...I used to be able to move my elbows in to see behind me, but now all I see it TRUNK! LOL. this thing is HUGE! But now I can go to the store and pick up things that won't fit in my jacket...yay! Thanks to Twisted Throttle for the great product and quick delivery! Looking forward to getting my stereo amp and speaker kit this week...my next project.

Where, Cycle Gear
Price, $26(web and sticker show as $36)
How it works, it comes with 2 wires, one is terminated with ring ends(battery or distribution block if you have one set up), on one end then the other end has the adapter plug (pictured), the other wire is an extension that terminates at both ends with an adapter (so you get the length you need to move the compressor ) I just wired the short one to my dist. block, ran it under the seat , all I have to do is lift my back seat off, slide out the compressor, plug the extension( bundled next to the compressor) into the hard line and then compressor, screw in the air line to compressor(I did not want to leave the air line on the compressor in case something should happen but you could) and just flip a switch.

You could leave it plugged in and air line always attached but I did not want to take a chance of the unit somehow getting turned on , there are several warnings that the unit should not be run for more that 8 minutes @ a time. so if you know your air line will not be rubbing on something and that no way your unit could accidentally be switched on then go ahead.

We have the co2 kit but I am not trying to find out how many it would take to get to a safe tire pressure for a rear (on the side of the road),

I may mod this later to where I have the air fitting sticking through the tail plastics with a remote switch maybe somewhere in the front fairing, so that all I would need to do is attach a longer air line to the fitting and hit a switch.

Jeebus, how many flats do you guys plan on having? I've been riding 28+ years and have had exactly 1. I carry a plug kit and a tiny hand pump from REI. It may take me a while to pump it up, but it's not like it's going to be a weekly, monthly, or even yearly occurrence.

Added some swing arm spools, did the 600 mi checkup, and thought about TLC's oil fiasco while I was driving a screwdriver through the oil filter. That mother was tight! No damage to the union however! LOL

It was actually Monday but I cooked next to it while it sat there frozen and up on blocks

Went to the dealership to pick up my dash part. Had to look around and see if they had and SV in there. Sure enough, an 08 650S, dark blue, crammed in a corner with a few other cycles. Felt sorry for the bike. No owner, but had to leave before I made a rash decision. Didnt get the price. Didnt want to know :'(

Forgot to add that I talked to the painter and gave him the rest of the cash for the job. Gonna go get some stickers made up at the local graphics place to add to the bike. Very excited, might be a week or so before it is done.

Well, I do not know when I will have a flat but I am planned out for 6 flats(that's how many plugs I got).

Let's clear this up though.
1)The sv is my car
2)I have to travel min. 5 days a week statewide/southeast region
3)My job is on construction sites!!!(even if I park off site I know from years of experience that a lot of debris from the site is spilled onto the local adjoining roads).

So, I am planning/preparing for the types of terrain and debris I must deal with.

^^^Well, that clears things up crystally. Now that I have that info, I would say you are on the right track.

I rode mine for the first time since January. It felt good.
