Just thought this would be a cool new topic. If there is already one in existence please let me know so I can delete this one, or a mod can do it. As for me I finished my under tail project and rode the crap out of it.
Where is the adventure in that?
But now imagine doing it on the SV! How much more adventurous that would behttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7y0LoQBl24s
I made it on my 2nd try with open diffs,
and 30" tires! :lmao:
I dont want to break my SV.....But now imagine doing it on the SV! How much more adventurous that would be![]()

I could sure use a set of front and rear failings, my lowers are great, but the PO decided to rattle can the rest.... It was ugly, and I can only clean up bad so well....I'm actually only a couple of steps away from
converting it over to a vstrom for short people!
All I need are some more aggressive tires, and
some fender extenders! :icon_biggrin: Well, with out all the
fairings...
Looks amazing! Now go ride and get it all dirty ;DDid a detail on my bike today. Did a full decontamination, 2 steps paint correction consisting of compounding and polishing and finished it off with a Ceramic Paint Coating.
For those interested, there's a full write up here...

I love that color scheme and wish that model wasn't so hard to find. One of these days I'm going to get one and make it naked.
So I've heard! It has a ceramic coating on it now to prevent oxidation, etching, an some slight scratching/marring but I am an avid detailer so it will stay in tip top shape.Keep taking good care of it. That color is impossible to repaint and get right.

It really does. Funny enough, I didn't know the white stripes on mine had flake in them until I hit it with the first pass of compound. It really pops now in the sun.Very jealous of that paint, just got finished up with a mild detail myself. Medium cut compound, polish and two coats of wax really do wonders.

Yes, all of it. Definitely a time consuming project, but not difficult at all.Color swap looks great. Did you do everything on your own?
