Blue is a no-go for sure...
Red is weird. Depending on where you are, red should only be visible from the rear of the vehicle. Same for white only being on the front. Amber is (theoretically) the only color allowed 360.

Some states (e.g. Colorado) even restrict green lights to certain ranking first responders.

Know your laws! For me? It was more of a 'gits and shiggles' thing. Cheap set, spare time. Show off to a friend or two, take a few pictures. Maaaybe if it's really dark and I need the extra visibility, I'd click onto amber-ish orange or white.

In Texas, legally you are only allowed to have white or amber, and they must be solid, not blinking. However, the only time I have heard of it being enforced is when someone was stopped for something else and the rider was being rude or had been stopped for stunting or horribly excessive speed.

A friend in our local group got stopped and ticketed for a red underglow kit.
He definitely knew better than we did cause he was cooler than that stupid cop.

I fit my new race bodywork on.

Wait until you see the color I have for it. Coming for a sv of the month nomination

Radiator, hoses, handlebar, and rear tire installed.

So that means you're keeping it! :evil6: :eek:ccasion14:
Well, until I can buy the BMW, then...

Finances are starting to improve a little, and the outlook is good, once I get school out of the way and have more time to spend on Freelance. And really hoping that freelance turns into a good full time gig with the client.

Added a little more visibility enhancement to the new lid.

Is that the 3M SOLAS tape?

If so, I did mine about a week ago!

Yep - just a little thinner... :)

Is that an Exo 510, or the the 500?

Went to the DMV ad started the salvage title process. Next step: CHP inspection on Tuesday.

had that ZX14 shock waiting for me, rainy day, soo..

Went in pretty smooth, except messing with that tool box heatshield. After enlisting my 9 year old daughter with her tiny hands things moved along better.

I used the hoisting method in the garage and discovered that my garage door opener is quite powerful. When my wife came home the bike ended up dangling from the ceiling..oopsie, nothing happened. Could have been worse! Thinking about it, this might come in handy at some point.

Weather clearing up.. time for a test ride!

My least favorite part of the SV so far:

Finally installed stock mirrors courtesy of r0ckrat. They are replacing my cheap bar ends that kept hitting car mirrors when lane splitting and getting bent inward by wind. Will try them out tomorrow and hopefully will be able to see somewhat behind me.

Also got a new Olympia odyssey suit to replace the Joe rocket survivor they didn't fit me quite right. Lots of things to test out on the commute tomorrow morning!
