You scored enough points?

Congrats on joining big leagues :)

Put my front end back together and reinstalled it. Feels alot better now, just in time for a last minute trackday on monday.

Most people wouldn't think it, but a gear indicator is actually surprisingly nice to have.
i had one for about a week. having never actualy looked at it, i sold it

Sent from a submarine using an enigma machine
Is there a brand of gear indicator called "gipro". Is it possible he meant gopro and fat-finhered the o for an i? Lol

got bored over the weekend, slid the forks up the triple about 5-6mm. Rode to work this morning, the placebo is running strong, the bike feels much more agile now.

Put the bike entirely back together. New front end including steering head bearings, and some miscellaneous parts around the bike. Took it for its first ride in 4 weeks, and noticed some issues :( The front wheel is bent slightly, and makes a noticeable vibration at speed. No idea what I'm going to do about that besides buy a new one.

I have had several wheels and rotors straightened by http://willsrimrepair.com/

Great work and reasonable prices. His communication skills are a bit weak but worth the effort.

What's the turnaround for him? Can I send the wheel with the tire still on there?

Or would I just be better served buying another wheel on Ebay?
The wheel needs to be stripped (tire and rotors removed) and this time of year the turn around us usually less than two weeks.

I have had wheels repaired that were bent so bad that they were cracked and they came back looking like new. He has also repaired rotors that were visibly bent that came back with less runout than the spec on new parts.

I would call wills shop and ask. I know that if you include payment and return shipping he can turn it around quicker. I never tried this as I simply gathered up all the wheels and rotors from my extended group of friends and shipped everything at once.

Same thing we do everyday, Pinky! Try and take over the world! Er, commute... I meant ride the commute route...
