Today was a fiddle around and do random stuff day.

I needed to retrieve some Posi-Taps from the TPS wires left on from a previous project, so I got those off. Since the tank was up, I opened up the air box and blew out the filter. I added a little bit of coolant to the reservoir to get the level up to "F". I put a 1/8" mesh screen in front of the stock oil cooler screen to better protect it.

Flushed the anti-freeze and refilled with DI water and water wetter. Race season here I come!!!

Fitted the new master link to complete the race bike again and took it for a couple trips around the neighborhood today. 05 motor feels good and runs smooth as butter.

Shhhh don't tell my SV.. I have a 2002 Honda VTX1800 being delivered tomorrow. I wont forget my SV it has been a blast If there is anyone interested I have a 2002 SV650s blue with just under 13k on it for sale. I hate to let it go but I don't need 2 bikes. It will go up on craigslist this weekend in north NJ. Id like to see it go to a home that knows what they have when they look at an SV.

New fender eliminator.

Competition Werkes. I had one of these on my last SV. I really like stainless belly pan and the low mounted plate.
Unfortunately Werkes forgot to send any of the fasteners and I had the bike half torn down when I realized this. So after a trip to the hardware store and a long afternoon of “making it work”, I’m exhausted. There’s a few finishing pieces I need Werkes to send me to be “done”, but overall I’m happy with it.

Next project: M4 exhaust…

Flossed the rear brake piston, cleaned and reverse-bled. Removed, cleaned and lubed right rearset, adjusted brake pedal height (should have done that a long time ago).

Also adjusted my Aztec dual headlights, they're now higher and better-angled.

Tested out my new Chinese eBay levers. They're awesome.

- snapped the bolt adjusting TPS :(
- managed to get the stuck part out (was flush)
- bought a new bolt
- adjusted TPS to 1450rpm
- took it for test ride (rides so much better now!)
- plasti-dipped passenger pegs
- washed / detailed the bike for like 2 hours
- sat down and just looked at it for prob way too long

turned out to be a pretty good day

Installed SVRP 3.5" risers and Galfer lines for the front. I still have to bleed the brakes today. I sat on the bike, they are not as high as I was hoping but I really won't know until I go for a ride.
