nothing, but i rode it yesterday after it quit raining. adjusted the chain again and its oh so sweet to ride again. had the chain a little to tight initially. the trades off of living in Florida,
you dont have to deal with the snow and cold, but it rains a lot, ussually the days you planned on riding.

Sat on it, made some Vrooom Vroom sounds, got in the truck and came to work.....F**K WINTER!!!!!

Installed the permanent wires for my battery charger/maintainer.

 

Rode to work, rode home in the snow, again... Why is it that it never snows at the weekend, or during the night so I don't take the **** bike to work, it has to snow when I'm in the basement in the office so I don't even know til I walk out at 5.30, and everything's gone white Still, didn't die, so that's OK. Thought I was going to drop it round the back of the garage though, my foot was sliding around as I went for the sidestand...

Mountain bike tomorrow, I do like ghosting past all the stuck cars on my unstoppable .2 bhp ATV ;D

Christened my M4 for a quick 15 min ride... the roads still suck so I didn't want to push my luck... perhaps I'll try again tomorrow..it should still be niceish at 53 degrees or so... D A M N this snow is taking a long time to melt off...

 

Rode to work, rode home. Adjusted my clutch but now it's slipping worse Will give it another go tomorrow.

 

Took the cover off it and started it for a few minutes. I wished that I had my gear (my bike is getting stored at my father in laws house)

 

changed my oil. oh... and how many people here arent using motorcycle oil? i use suzuki oil religiously.

 

what... they make oil specially for motorcycles...... and to think I've just been using mazola

 

Fitted my 5.5" Marvic Penta magnesium wheel to the bike. It took a little machining of the cush drive along with 17mm axle adapters/spacers, to get the wheel centered. I also had to machine the caliper bracket to line it up, but I'm planning to make a complete new bracket so that is a little stronger and it stays lined up when the wheel is off.

 

what's going on the front?

 

I'm keeping an eye out for a matching front, but the stock GSXR is on there right now.

Adjusted the clutch again this morning. Feels better so far, almost positive I felt some tire slip when I got on it instead of clutch slip ;D

 

rode home in the pouring rain, rewired and relocated my GI pro ATRE after it cut out on me. adjusted my clutch, drank some beer, cleaned my air filter, inflated tires (love my air compressor) debafled the street extreme. (cant help it, it sounds so good)

still need to replace the rashed can, but i cant decide on another stainless scorp street extreme but with a carbon tip, or something else. also ordering r6 throttle tube tonight, and new motrax bar end mirrors and v-strom handguards to replace my crash damaged stuff. plus more oil and chain lube on saturday. it never ends

Also got my new tires on.

 

Got rid of the clip ons I used to use for racing, and installed a clubman style handlebar. Also reset fork height to factory- Race tech springs, shims, and new fork seals. Last, replaced the tires with Pilot Road 2 dual compounds front and rear.

 

I was all mentally prepared to ride to work, then I went outside for morning chores and changed my mind

 

I'm trying to clean up the dang chain a bit after I installed my new clutch shift rod, the one I made. Works great from what I can tell. Anyway, trying to pull the chain I cut my knuckle pretty good. Blood spraying everywhere, ok not that bad. Still can't ride though. Argh.

 

Rode her into work today, she was happy I was happy, got a commission check, today is a good day.

 

Rode to work. This afternoon, I'll ride it home. I might even stop and put gas in it.
