Just thought this would be a cool new topic. If there is already one in existence please let me know so I can delete this one, or a mod can do it. As for me I finished my under tail project and rode the crap out of it.

After I installed the Nelson-Rigg CL950 saddlebags, I went for a long ride... down to Louisville Kentucky (from chicago). That's me in the middle of the big group picture next to the Yellow bike at Story Inn, in Story, Indiana. GREAT ROADS to/from this place!!!! I'll be back for sure!

The other pic is a pal on his Bonneville giving his approval to the roads!

LOVE MY SV650 with the GSXR front end on it. What a dream bike for curvy roads!

OK, so Saturday but I was offline all weekend...

Clutch Mantra after cleaning all the gunk from a new chain out...

Then adjusted idle, reconnected the breather hose to the bottom of the airbox, and relocated a USB charger dongle...

I wasn't gonna do it.

I have another trip to the Gap planned in October, and told my riding friends that I was going to hibernate the SV between now and then to save my tires.

You see, I am on my forth set already this season.

It's been a good season. No deer crashes. No tunnel crashes. No broken legs.

Am approaching 30,000 miles for 2015 and eating up tires is a result.

So yesterday I finished installing my beta unit Fuelbot 2.0 (thanks Tee) and went for a ride to calibrate things.

Ended up being three tanks...and ended up railing some twisties in there.
3500 miles on this set already.

So damnnit....I ordered rear tire #5 today. That's what I did

Tip of the hat to a real rider.

I used to average 1,200 miles a month on my 2008 CBR1000RR before I sold it.

I've been gingerly riding other bikes since, being careful not to put too much mileage on them in case I sold them, which i did.

I wanna get back to riding everyday which is why I bought an SV650 yesterday. Cheap, economical fun.

Over the weekend I levered on a new back tire. Took off a Shinko 011 with 6515 miles on it and replaced with a fresh one of the same. Really like these tires!:) They last as long or longer than the PR2's did, and handle well until it's time to take them off...unlike the PR2 which got weird toward the end of its' lifespan. Best part is the rear tires cost about $98 delivered at American Motorcycle Tire. http://www.americanmototire.com/catalog/ If you are in the market for tires...give these people a look see....haven't found anyone beating their prices yet.

Ram mount on a 2ng Gen SV650 for my S5. I haven't seen any done on a 2ng gen for the stem nut. Took maybe 30 min. Worked out perfectly for a 450 mile road trip. Turns out I don't use it much for the touchscreen so I think I'll sell it. I can control most everything through my sena headset and don't need to see the phone all that much.
