finally finished brackets for bi xenon headlight from boris. also have it wired in. I hid the ballast and controller in front of airbox. snorkel removed. lotss of wires but it looks like it should be factory.

unfortunately i cant get the look i want if i try to use the factory gauge so im getting a trail tech vapor stealth.

I brought it back from the track....

(spare me the "body position/speed" comments ;) I'm new to the track, haha)

Track: Reno-Ferley Raceway

Map: Google Maps link

It's a reconfigurable track, so we rode this configuration (Config-C)

Mine is still on the trailer after getting home from the Rally. Hoping to make a bracket and mount the gauges back up this week. Here's what the bracket will look like:

The two "legs" will have holes drilled through to mount directly on top of the OEM GSXR top triple. It's a temporary fix until I get a custom billet top triple made so I can mount up a proper bar again. The Duc 900SS clip-ons are MUCH better than the GSXR torture devices, but not yet good *enough*. The tear drop is to clear the ignition switch.

My buddy called me and has my wrecked bike on his trailer, leaving the tow lot as I type this. He has helped me a bunch while I am down and out.

$500 smackers to tow it to the lot 5 miles from the wreck, including 4 days storage @ $50 daily.

Tow people gouging me, taking advantage of the situation.:angry4:

cleaned and oiled the air filter. cleaned and lubed the chain. pulled front blinkers off and redid some of the wiring. the left one was working intermittenly so i tore it apart and found the solder job on the actual board itself was falling apart. also installed a 12v cigarette lighter.

Rode her to work again. This makes every day for at least 3 weeks now... YES!

I miss my SV today, she knows it too. I sent telepathic thoughts of riding her to her.

still waiting on the **** reservoir

'00 - tried to start again (failed again) and took off the sharkskinz so i can sell that.

I've got you beat, every day for the last 3 years. Other then a handful of times I drove my truck during the first year :p
luckier dawg! :notworthy:

Tried to ride it to work but she didn't want to fire, and killed the battery in the process so she's on the tender now...
Rode the DRZ to work and she felt sluggish... yeah, a (just about) flat tire will do that I suppose. Luckily I have a few CO2 cartridges in the tailbag to inflate the tire for the 2 mile ride home at lunch...
