Just thought this would be a cool new topic. If there is already one in existence please let me know so I can delete this one, or a mod can do it. As for me I finished my under tail project and rode the crap out of it.
You won't hear people recommend Shinko's very often, but believe me their 011 Verge is a good tire for a very reasonable price. The others in their lineup...meh. But 011 grip is good and they have a very deep tread for long life. In fact, just looking at my notes the Michelin PR2's only went 5500ish on my SV where the 011 went 6600....and I just ordered a new one for $98.!! Hard to beat the miles/dollar ratio on that tire.then while riding i noticed this.... guess its time for a new rear. with this being my first street bike and all, i am not sure whats out there that is good or not. so feel free to throw some names of some good street tires at me.
That can only come from a chain gone VERY bad. Also I pulled the front sprocket cover and found a ton of crud built up in it, started pulling it out and noticed a ton of gunked up little o-rings. anybody have a clue what these could be from?
