^ About time, Brad! ;)

I went and bought 2 orings for my coolant leak. Spent enough time last night trying to get it right. A few smashed fingers later and I've learned something.
Let's hope tonight goes better than last night.

Washed the bike...was filthy!

Looks good... I'm still undecided about the change in logo on the newer M4 cans.. on the titanium can anyway I think I liked the metal solid black logo... slightly harder to clean though with the raised part

The old logo was a raised, black and metal mount on, the new ones appear to be more like a sticker or painted on... probably looks better on the full carbon can though and much easier to clean

Oh.. and all I did to my SV was brush some of the parkade dust off mine... :p it was supposed to p!ss rain all day... but actually turned out not to...
d a m n i t ! ! !... I shoulda risked getting soaked....

They call it the Suzuki Camelback upgrade... haven't you seen it before..... remove the passenger seat, add some mounts and a tank and route it to the main and presto... the SV-Camel 650 or 1000 but they are even more rare.. but now you can go at least twice as far!

The ultra-rare dual tank SV!:p Looks great!

Bwahahahahahahaha!

On a related note...for my Harley chopper build, I'll eventually fab up an auxiliary fuel tank under the seat.

Took a couple snapshots of my plate lights at night after FE mod. :p

Yay!

I finally moved the air horn from here:

To up under the rear seat.

Tomorrow I'll wire in an A/C adapter so I can plug my phone and camera battery chargers in.

I don't think I've EVER done so much in so little time to this bike. Having free time after work (in other words, the spring semester is over) is amazing.

Sounds more like a V-Max to me...

for some reason... no matter how impracticable they are... the V-Max still gives me a raging boner....

something keeps telling me to sell my Marauder and get a V-Max instead..

not sure why... perhaps it is the sheer g-forces...

Yeah... the new V-max is an aborted fetus... fugly as hell.... give me back the 1989 or 1992 beast and I'll be happy...

The Intruder still is one of my favourite bikes... I loved the look of them back in the late 80's early 90's... sooooo not harley but very cool....

I hate the battery location though... I mean come on.. let me pull it from the seat area and not from under the bike

My Marauder is a lot cooler since the re-jet and new front sprocket... but still it handles like a pig... and the cobra exhaust will be a problem when the city brings in their new noise bylaws... but hopefully by then I've sold it for something else..... the SV though is still a keeper for me...

I am tempted to get a VX800 in place of my Marauder though... again same engine.. whole different bike.... but if a V-Max presented itself I'd kick that Vx800 to the curb... I don't care how bad the V-Max handles and how far it goes on a tank.. it can't be worse than my Marauder.... but the engine is sooo much more fun.... and the 80's and 90's V-max bikes are actually becoming more affordable these days too... woohoo!

I used to have an Intruder 800 (same engine as the Marauder). Yeah, the V-Max will be more fun. The "older" style. The new one is just fugly.

My chopper will still have the above-engine tank, but another below.

I put the first of hopefully very few scratches on her. Made the rookie mistake of not quite getting the sidestand down all the way on a slight incline and over she went. On the positive side, my ankle (and the recently installed frame sliders) saved the fairing from what should have been a bit more damage. Now my ankle is all jacked. Good times.
