What's your weight? Do you have stock fork springs?

I weigh 175 without gear. And the springs are stock but the are within spec... I was seriously considering getting new springs or doing a GSXR front fork swap. But....we will just call it money issues (broke college student).

Primed and sanded :l . Hopefully tomorrow I can finish sanding and shoot color sunday afternoon. I would love to actually be able to ride next weekend.

Installed radiator, new shifter, new light bulbs and painted some rash on barends.

Waiting for the front cowling to arrive next week.

I replaced the vacuum caps on the throttle bodies. All of them had cracks and made the bike run really bad. The bike is 5 years old and the caps on SV's will crack, so here's a heads up to keep an eye on them. They are a tiny part, but when they crack and leak, they cause some real headaches.

Didn't have a chance to ride, since a nasty thunderstorm was about to show up. But I did get the bike washed and put back into the garage before it started raining.

Me too...
Any recommendations for a good new one ?
sucks doesn't it? glad some one gets to share the pain with me though.

i am going OEM. but that's because i work at suzuki dealer and get cost plus 5 for suzuki parts. i would stay away from barnett clutches.

kg factory supplies a lot of bike manufactures clutch components, a friend of mine jsut replaced his SV clutch with kg and saved quite a bit compared to OEM but he's at a triumph dealer nonetheless..

Got rid of my stock front tire and rode 100+ miles to scrub in the new one. I don't know how much of it's in my head vs the new tires performance, but the bike feels a lot easier on turn in.

Thanks! Yeah, I had replaced mine when I did my TB sync and they were cracked a few months after that already...so this time I put 12" of vacuum line on each nipple for my TB sync and put a hex screw in each end. It works great and now I only have to lift my tank and grab hoses from next to airbox to do my TB sync

Purged coolant lines, removed snorkel. Front cowling is coming home thursday. Can't wait.

Installed the motosliders and swing arm spools I got from Blair. These things are solid, I'm glad I went ahead and fronted the money for them.
