Swapped out some .85 kg Sonic Springs for some .95's, tuned the emulators, and put in new 20w fork oil to compensate for me being ~100lb more than my bike's previous owner.

Much more solid front end now, but I can't test it out for a couple days. It's F-ing snowing outside in March.
Feels wierd being called the bike's previous owner :(

Glad it's getting some love, though :D

Sonic recommended 20w with emulators or without, so that's what I used.
Keep in mind that the bike has the traxxion dynamics drop-in kit, which allows for lighter oil in the 2nd gen bikes because the interface between the damper rods and emulators is much tighter than emulators and modified-stock damper rods. The only thing heavier oil will affect, however, is rebound because you can adjust compression by tightening or loosening the bolts on the emulators. It should be fine, but if the bike is rebounding too slow you may want to go to 15W. Send a PM to RichDesmond (Sonic Springs owner, member here) and see what he personally says when you mention the Traxxion kit.

Well crap. I'll ride it and see how it does, but at least fork oil is cheap enough to experiment with.

Yeah. It won't be too bad, just a bit stiff. It'll be a little stiffer in cooler weather at the beginning of rides too.

This guy will get back to you pretty quick too. He'll probably tell you to try 10W or 15W with 3 turns on the emulators.

The wheels set me back a few about 1k plus stock wheels but I am happy with them. A new triple because the one I had did not line up with the ignition switch, steering lock, so I had one made to fit perfectly with a cool anodized finish.

Didn't do it today, saw it done to my SV on Sunday.

Depending on whether I decide to file a claim, my buddy turned my Cutie into a track bike... the hard way.

Serious tank ding (paint flaking off at impact point serious), rashed through my Jardine can, brake lever gone, brake pedal destroyed, handlebar half ground through, light bezel whacked, right tail section busted, etc. Close to totalling the bike I fear. sigh....

Looked at her in the garage and wondered if the snow would ever go away:(

Then ordered a mid-pipe to let her know that I hadn't forgotten about her;D

In the past week I paid for/got (in the mail): Hayabusa Galfer wave rotor (for my GSXR rear rim), shipped my sprocket carrier and caliper bracket to Zoran, bought GSXR steering stops from D'Ecossee, Got an exhaust bracket from Endurance Engineering (which I wish I opted for the cross-brace. The material feels VERY light weight, but feels like it will snap in any kind of low-side at the track...), got some Micron exhaust brackets shipped here from England for my full Micron exhaust...

Oh yeah, I also talked to "Ivan" today and ordered his jet kit. ;D Going to have him buy and modify the BMC Race filter to open it up to his specifications....
