haha mine is registered in KY. I had to take it in when I bought the bike. they handed me a form and said go see sheriff. I go to sheriff double checking my gear and the lights and checking the "new" stebil horn I just installed. The sheriff took my $20 went to the bike I handed him the title and he looks at frame then says here you go. That's it. KY only checks the title to the frame if the VIN matches you pass. this is on all vehicles, I had a hard time believing it when I was dumping oil all over the place in my turbo saturn.

You and your Saturn. You take every opportunity to talk about it! :gay:
"Hey, dream. How are things with your wife?" "ah... you know. My turbo saturn was the best car evar!"

:hiding2:

you like that tool dip stuff.. its a cool product. Ive never used it myself but that stuff probly has hundreds of uses.
hell yeah! Beats messin with different sizes of shrink tubing and/or electrical tape. I used Q-tips to apply..why spend money on brushes?

only thing left to do now is counter-sink the LED holes...shoulda done that before but couldn't figure out what it was missing...lol.

DOOKIE...nice bike! she's a beauty! congrats!

as of 1207pm today my project is financially complete. Now when all the parts arrive all I have to do is assemble. so lets see, not this weekend but the next she will get the first road test in her new format. I have been eying carbon fiber fenders and carbon fiber chain guard/hugger too but maybe end of summer on those.

I liked it until you said it was from a Gladius. Now I feel like I need to shower. ;D

Just kidding. I think I'm becoming a fan of black lower "plastics," i.e. fender, hugger, bellypan/chin fairing.

Speaking of huggers, I put one on today. I found it at a cycle salvage warehouse parts bin named HONDA... your guess is as good as mine. I layed it on one of the SV swingers they had there, and 2 of the 3 bolt holes lined up... the 3rd one on the chain side doesn't exist so I drilled and tapped in a bolt there.

I have no idea what its from.

Here it is before washing it up, and before paint:

Can anyone guess? Honda something? lol! All I know is I was told SV huggers don't fit 180 tires well. This one fits over my 180 tire just perfectly and the equidistant.

While I was at it, I took an SV frame and layed it on a TL1000 engine just for kicks... what a crappy fit! Not something I want to try and make work... hehe.

Rode her for about 210 miles...most of that up in the hills enjoying the twisties for the 3rd time in the last 22 months! THIS time, I didn't even come close to riding off a cliff...feeling pretty proud right now...lol.

Merced Falls Road...picture does not do it justice...great scenery every time!

Finally hollowed out the header bolt hole. We tried torches and cobalt drill bits to no avail. Bought some diamond tipped dremel bits and got it done. The threads are in decent shape, surprisingly, but I might go one size higher or use a helicoil to make it perfect. I keep forgetting to remove exhaust bolts, studs, nuts, periodically to put more anti-seize compound on them or replace them. Oh well, now I'm installing the very quiet stock exhaust; it'll be weird!

Turned my running lights into turn signals also.

Now I dont need resistors for the rear aftermarket signals as it balances out the current.
