I dropped one of the tank bolt washers into the area in front of the airbox and spent 2 hours looking for it, unsuccessfully.

 

Ouch!

 

Or, get yourself one of those little magnets on the end of an extendable rod and fish around in there until you feel/hear a little click.

 

Yea I tried the compressed air, but no luck,
If it stops raining tonight I'll try to fish it out wit. a magnet, that's a good idea.

 

Played around with my shock, ended up going with 8 clicks out on CD for my local roads then went for some aggressive twisty riding.

I did the same thing with the washer but just got a new one and called it a day. Im sure it'll vibrate itself off the bike at some point.

 

I put on rim tape.

 

I put in my zx6 rear shock that I have had laying on the floor for a month! My SV is officially unsucky in the suspension dept.

Also did a quick and dirty setup on the front end.

 

Today i disassembled my forks.. waiting on my Sonic Springs.. Hopefully back together by Thursday.

 

Finally put on that Delkevic Tri-oval I bought last winter. Hearing it, why did I wait? the cold and rain stopped over a week ago.

 

Installed K&N, swingarm spools, and tried to install a Targa half tank bra. It didn't fit well so it's going back.

 

Installed my new flebay folding shift lever AND a new Sargent seat! My a$$ already feels better just looking at it.

 

Installed my ZX-14 shock. 15 minutes to remove the old one, 90 minutes to remove the 3 screws from the shield in front of the tool box, and 15 minutes to install the ZX shock.

I did find an easier way to remove the pesky screw from the top of the shield (at least I hadn't read about it before). Pop the tank up and use a LONG phillips screwdriver and go through the tank hinge to the screw.

That's exactly what I ended up doing for that screw when I installed the ZX10 shock this Spring. Great minds think alike.

Sanded and fiberglass repaired buggered race bodywork. Painted tank with great metallic black.

Next; sanding bodywork, installing repainted tank, obtaining decals for bodywork, mounting bodywork and aftermarket headlight, mounting rearsets.

Put on my new M4 slip-on, replaced radiator fluid, new kick stand springs, and about to start on flushing the brakes and installing a new front master cylinder

 

yesterday i connected a Vapor gauge and today i finished making a mounting bracket and mounted it. Now Im just waiting for some t-bolt clamps to mount a new headlight. That would finished up my S to N conversion. Pics will be posted when its all done

I bandaged up the wounds inflicted on her by the p.o.

 

Installed Moto-Elite bar-end mirrors, removed stock mirrors, installed Motosliders frame and spool sliders, removed front windscreen

 

Took out a nail from the rear tire and plugged it up with my new kit

 

moto slider, SS ABS brake lines, Racetech forks.

 

put it up on the stand and tried to figure out where the air is leaking out of my rear. Ever since I plugged a small nail hole a couple weeks ago, the tire won't hold air. Checked where the plug is and no leaks/bubbles...even over-filled it to boost the pressure and still nothing. Very frustrating since I lose about 15# every 500 miles...I always catch myself riding on 15-20#.

 

finished installing my headlight and took her for a ride to optest the Vapor.. it works!! lol
