Just thought this would be a cool new topic. If there is already one in existence please let me know so I can delete this one, or a mod can do it. As for me I finished my under tail project and rode the crap out of it.

My K6 has 28,830 miles soooooooooo...... it was time to check the valves. I just wanted to get it done; it could have been delayed for about a week, but I prefer to get this kind of thing done and over with.

I'm glad to report that all valves were in spec. Thank GOD!!

Put in new plugs, since the plugs have to be pulled to check the valves. Everything works, went for a short ride and no leaks, either.

Now I can ride with that special feeling one gets when you know the valves are OK for another 14,500 miles. What a relief!

Replaced the Front fork seals and fork oil on my bike....Im pretty sure that niether has been done before in the 16,xxx miles that the bike has been rode. Needless to say there was some nasty stuff down at the bottom.

I replaced with a ten weight oil rather the 5 I believe was in there. I took it for a short ride and it seems to be better, but not the ridiculous change in feel that people have claimed.

What's your weight? Do you have stock fork springs?

I bled my brakes last night- speedbleeders make this SOOO much easier, plus my homemade mityvac (a large plastic syringe w/ tubing to the bleeder for vacuum) and they were done quick.
Started organizing the tail section for layout of electrical components.

^ Which speedbleeders did you use? I'm interested in them just not sure if I need to worry about brand, there's a lot of cheap ones floating around.

Last night I adjusted the TPS, you would think with all the technology available in modern times Suzuki would be able to equip their bikes with a more accurate and simpler way to adjust the fuel injection sensor rather than turning that knob back and forth a dozen times. I got it to up at about 1550 RPMs, it would constantly cut out when I went below 1500.

I replaced the vacuum caps on the throttle bodies. All of them had cracks and made the bike run really bad. The bike is 5 years old and the caps on SV's will crack, so here's a heads up to keep an eye on them. They are a tiny part, but when they crack and leak, they cause some real headaches.

Didn't have a chance to ride, since a nasty thunderstorm was about to show up. But I did get the bike washed and put back into the garage before it started raining.

Thanks! Yeah, I had replaced mine when I did my TB sync and they were cracked a few months after that already...so this time I put 12" of vacuum line on each nipple for my TB sync and put a hex screw in each end. It works great and now I only have to lift my tank and grab hoses from next to airbox to do my TB sync

I Changed her oil and filter, cleaned and lubed the chain :) Next week I hope I'll be able to have the time to do a radiator flush, which it has probably never been done since it came out of the factory (2006)...
