With mixed types of blinkers you have two choices,
a resistor on the LED bulbs and old school flasher,
or solid state flasher that does not care about resistance.
The only downside to the solid state flasher is that it
will not make a burned out bulb obvious by not working properly.
I agree. Buy two. I bought one, and my first one took almost 2 seconds to activate everytime. The replacement was much more reasonable, arong .75/1 second.
Just went through this last month. First relay broke after two weeks. (A part supported only by its own electrical leads broke off). The second really I took the outer plastic case off and mostly filled it the relay's innards with glue gun glue to prevent it from happening again.
Still working...
