Hey

anyone know what size the valve shims are from the factory(intake and exaust for front and rear cylinder) ?

it would save me from pulling the bike apart twice if i have to order parts.

i tried to search but had no luck

mines an o3 if that makes a difference?

All engines have different sized (thickness) shims installed in them due to the variation in tolerances from one motor to another.
The only way to figure out what size shims are in the motor is to disassemble and measure them. Your best plan of attack is to just proceed with the measurement on clearances as you may not even need to adjust.

yeah i already measured and they need adjustment
just thought i could save some time and not wait for shims to arrive

im a little surprized that from the factory new engines would have different shim sizes...not just standard installed across the board

They can not make every engine the same :nana:

The valve need to be sanded on the valve seats till it gots the proper valve seat width. This is why they are not all the same. The shims are probaly between 1.50-1.70 mm but they needs to be checked when changing shims.
