I'm guessing you either have some parts missing or you are supposed to transfer parts over from your existing seat. This is a screen grab from ebay of the underside of a Chinese cowl:

It looks like it has the same 5 mounting points as your cover.

 

Yes theres a mount plate for the seat lock and the white plastic lug mounts for the back as in
Image above.

 

Gotcha I’ve been trying to find the brackets since I’m switching from a passenger seat to the cowl but I can’t find anything and I’ve looked all over. Do you have any idea where I should look to find them cuz I’ve just spent about 30 minutes looking and can’t find anything that looks like it matches. Half the stuff that is coming up is just random sv650 parts like rear sets and stuff.

 

Would you be able to convince someone to have theirs scanned or translated into CAD? Then you could have them 3D printed.
