Open the sealed headlight unit

Anyone know the way to open up the headlight unit? There is some dirt residue along the bottom of the plastic that I'd like to clean out. The plastic tabs bend up okay but the front piece just doesn't want to give. The more I pry the more I just bend up the soft plastic.
So, what's the best way to open it up with the least damage?

Well just to clean it out...cant you just disassemble everything right down to the housing and put some soapy water inside, swish it around and clean it out? (pouring the water and soap in through the light bulb holes?)

But if you really needed to get the head light assembly apart, I have seen many threads for cars where people put the assembly in the oven and head it up until the apoxy softens around the lens. Then you can break the assembly down into two pieces like your asking. Look into it. I dont know the details.

It is glued. Sit it on some cardboard in the oven and set it to 190F. You might have to bump it up higher (212+) but eventually the glue will melt and you can pry it apart. Have gloves and such ready so you have time to complete it before it solidifies again. Also, the glue is super sticky: keep it form getting on the counters and kitchen table.
