Hey everyone! Just bought a 2014 Gladius. Technically my wife's bike (I have a 2007 Buell XB12ss). I used to own an SV650 years ago and had fond memories, so when my wife was shopping for a slightly bigger bike (she was on a Buell Blast) I recommended the SV platform.

Anyway, wanted to check in and see, does everything that fits the 2nd gen SV fit the Gladius? Mostly planning on doing exhaust, rear shock, and fork internals.

Also, any budget friendly brake upgrades I should know about? The stock brakes feel pretty squishy so I'm thinking of doing pads and SS lines.

Thanks!

I have a 2009 Gladius but my understandings is that there weren't many changes made to newer models. I have a used GSXR 600/750 rear shock found on ebay for $75, a Danmoto titanium exhaust slip-on ($125). I also upgraded brakes with pads and SS lines - helped with feel. Happy with all mods , have 20,000 miles so parts are lasting. If you want more ground clearance I bought a Lust dog bone.
