As i tried to start up this morning it wouldn't crank.
I charged the battery thinking i left the parking light on and started.
As i stopped for gas it wouldnt start up again so i recharged it again and whent on a bit of a longer drive in hopes of charging the battery.
Whilst stopping the revs whent down and all electrical shut down, nothing worked anymore.
I tested the battery and it seems it does not charge.
My question:
Will it be the battery or te regulator thats blown or both?

If the battery won't hold the charge, then it's gone. But, once you buy and fully charge a new battery and install, you will need to test the charging system. A simple multimeter metering voltage at the battery while idling once the engine is warmed up and at 4-5Krpm. You should be seeing 13V+ at idle and 13.5-15V at the higher rpm. Very common for the R/R in older 1gens to have issues. You need a good fully charged battery to test the system. If the voltages seem low, you would also want to test the output voltage of the stator as well to isolate the component at fault. May just be the battery if it's old or has been allowed to sit for periods without usage or a maintenance charger.

Look also as a dead battery to me , race biker can run only on a battery for almost 2 hours
With a full charge battery you should be able to start the bike 10x + before you start loosing power

But the battery could be dead because of a lack of charging of the r/r

As rman said , get a good battery and test your charging system

just measured it al out.
result:

battery is completely dead since the charging system was not working.
the regulator ( don't know the good word it's the electrical component with cooling fins on it on the right back side of the bike under the tail fairings) was blown and was oozing goo :/

my garage told me it's a problem that happens with most makes and models since it has to be cooled but they always manage to put it somewhere it doesn't have any proper cooling :)

swapped it al out and remounted and all is well :).
