Hi Guys,
A question about putting a decat Delete pipe on.
I have read lots of conflicting information about weather I need to get an ECU flash so that it doesn’t run too lean.
The new pipe has the fitting to take the original 02 sensor.
I thought that the 02 sensor was there to tell the ECU that the mixture was rich or lean or ok.
wouldn’t this mean that a USB flash is not needed?
I hope that someone can clear this up for me.
It already has a Yoshimura muffler on it.

If I recall, the O₂ sensor only works for low throttle openings when the bike runs under closed loop. Beyond that the bike runs open loop and uses a simple map (doesn't use the O₂ sensor). So if the bike can breathe better through a freer flowing exhaust the ECU won't know.
