Bike won't start.

I just installed the stock headlight back onto the bike. When I turn the key, the speedo lights up as usual but there is no 'whiirring' sound from the bike. I'm not sure what the problem is. All I did was re-solder the original plug back onto the wiring harness. Any info or advice would be GREATLY appreciated.

All of the fuses are in good shape. Still doesn't work.

Did some more checking. All of the fuses are getting power. However, it still doesn't work.

Checked the tip-over switch. All is good there. Now I'm gonna lift the tank to see what I can find. If anyone has any suggestions please post them. Thanks.

Nope. I have never had the tank completely removed. Only lifted up on it's little kick stand, and that was about three months ago.

Do the gauges say "check"? or you just get nothing?

Check the little safety switch that plugs into your clutch lever housing on the handlebars. Maybe it got knocked loose/bent while you were in the process of working on the bike.
