I've used a 50/50 mix of Silicate free Glycol Car coolant using deionized water I keep from when I defrost my freezer for years.

This stuff is ready mixed and will do,

Don't forget to follow the instructions in the manual to ,"Burp" the system with the Rad cap off and then engine running up to temp ( careful not to overflow). If you don't get the air out of the system before putting the rad cap on the engine can overheat and cause catastrophic damage.

 

I would think a product like ‘Engine Ice’ or ‘Water Wetter’ wouldn’t be needed unless you lived somewhere really hot…

 

I live in NC it gets like 100-105 sometimes but it's not crazy crazy If not engine ice what should I use ?

 

Here in NW Italy it currently goes up to around 38°C during daytime, and I run my gen. 3 SV with OEM coolant; never seen the water temp. raise beyond 3rd bar on the display.

 

Premix 50/50 works fine. Even for the south east US temps.
