WIN A RACEBIKE TO SUPPORT THE MARRC INJURED MEMBERS’ FUND -

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here’s your chance to win an iconic, fully prepped race bike AND to help out the Mid Atlantic Road Racing Club’s Injured Member Fund!

The IMF was established to help alleviate the burdens that a MARRC member faces from injuries sustained while participating as a racer, corner worker, or racingofficial in a sanctioned road racing event. The IMF committee, upon receipt of a nomination, can approve and allocate up to $500 per member per incident toward the injured member’s expenses. Since the fund was instituted in 2001, over 25 members have received such assistance.

Adam Wentling of Chief Wildman’s Racing is selling one hundred raffle tickets at $100 apiece for the chance to win his iconic “Al Wilcox Tribute Motorcycle” and will donate the proceeds to the IMF!

Donations may be made by check to MARRC and mailed to PO BOX 3407, Winchester, VA 22604 or sent via Paypal to [email protected].
EVERYONE is eligible to participate – you DO NOT need to be a MARRC member. The first 100 donors to send $100 or more will receive a raffle ticket. Please include the address to which you want your ticket to be mailed.

If all 100 tickets have been sold by 23 February 2013, thedrawing for the bike will occur and the donation check will be presented at the 2013 MARRC Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet (winner need not be present to win). If all 100 tickets have not been sold by the date of the banquet, 50% of the total donations received to that point will be presented to the MARRC president at the Banquet, with the remainder to be given at the conclusion of the raffle, which will be extended until Memorial Day 2013.

This bike was featured in the April 2012 issue of Motorcyclist Magazine.
