Getting ready to buy sliders for my SVS, Motosliders seems to be the best choice.

I know a "Frame Slider" is supposed to protect the frame and engine, body work in many cases won't get away without some damage.

But just wondering if anyone's dropped their bike, how did their sliders protect their bike's bodywork, especially the rear cowling?

Re: Will Motosliders or Any Slider Protect the Rear Cowling From Scratches & Damage?

I just dropped my bike for the first time 4 days ago!! I was going about 80km around a corner and lost control. The bike went slowly spinning down the road ahead of me. I had the frame and swingarm Motosliders so the only damage to my bike was 1 slightly scuffed stock left turn signal, 1 broken shift pedal, 1 slighty bent kickstand, and a section of paint missing on the lower part of the fairing about the size of your fist.
I was actually quite pleased with the outcome, considering.
