Yes it is brand new. I attempted to put the lower fairings on today but there is one nut that will not budge for the life of me and I do not have an impact wrench. SO I will have to send her off to the shop to have that done. I was kinda upset about that as I am not a fan of naked bikes but LOVE the feel and sound of the SV.

There is a new fully faired 1K in Maryland. Look it up on Cycle Trader. I almost bought it myself but got the local dealer who also had a new one to throw in the fairings and match the price.
