Whats up, I'm just north of you in Zachary/Slaughter area. Have you been to Rocketmadness.com? it's a louisiana forum and there's group rides pretty much any weekend the weather permits. We usually go run up through St.Francisville and into Mississippi for some nice twisties and vacant roads.

I'm in northeast part of the state, but travel home to N.O. regularly. Also, go riding in Ark. (Low Gap, which is down the road from Jasper).

I live in Lafayette right now. I got my SV in May, so I'm really just getting in to riding, but I ride every day. I'd be down to meet up some time if others are interested.
This morning was gorgeous. I saw a lot of bikes on the road today and got to thinking it would be cool to ride with others.

If cyclegear would ever bless me with a flippin day off on the weekends I'd love to form up and ride somewhere, heck if i gotta go to laffy to do it I wanna see if carl will let me unleash the SV on moore park, take it off some of those super sweet motard jumps!

I'm from NOLA and just purchased my 04 SV. Haven't ridden at the track yet but my brother races regularly there and it is a BLAST. They have an awesome Kart Racing Course (rental karts)- bike/road course- drift course w/ resturaunts and a real nice dining/bar area.

I definitley reccomend the visit - preferably on the one of their big sunday events or race weekends.

Noticed a blue sv650s at the UNO Causeway campus. I happen to be driving my 240 today so couldn't Park next to him/her...were out there. Few and far in between.
