I've been using 520 sprockets for awhile now, and suddenly all my sprocket suppliers are out. Sprocket Specialists went out awhile ago, checked up on them, still a month or so behind. Afam sprockets I've had good luck with, but now they are backed up too, for at least a few weeks. Hell I even suggested Vortex sprockets, and now they (sprocketcenter.com) doesnt sell them cause they melt like butter (understandable). Turns out going 520 was a mistake, I thought 520 gave more vareity for chains and sprockets? Cause I can get 525 sprockets no prob...but 520? Hell no. God dammit son of a bitch...

Anyone have a 520 rear? 45 tooth? I'll post in the wanted section too.

My Catskills ride is coming up, and my rear sprocket won't last that long. If I cant find a 520 rear by then, I'll have to ride a borrowed F4i, and I dont wanna do that...

Hmm...I guess the guy at AFAM was right when he said I should order now before they run out. I had a problem with a local store ordering me an AFAM 520 46T. I called AFAM directly and made an order over the phone. IIRC they just received their shipment on June 30th. I made the call on July 7th and received it on the 8th.

Actually I am, I talked to the guy at whitebuffaloracing.com and he sells AFAM and Driven, I said I'd take whichever he could find first. Took a look at the driven website and looks like good stuff.

That's what I said when I looked at Driven's stuff too. DucOwner just told me SvRaceShop is a Driven supplier, you might want to check out what they have too.

just another reason for sticking with 525 sprockets, one argurment used to be sprocket avalaibility for switching to 520, I guess that one has gone away ::)

Yeah seriously, that WAS one of my reasons, but now all I hear from dealers is "well we have 525 but no 520s". When my chain dies I'm definately throwing a 525 kit back on....
