The fuel filter is the little post pointing vertical on #1 in this diagram
As far as I know, you cant purchase one seperate without buying a new petcock. And cleaning them is possible, but they're very delicate.
You might be better off just adding an inline fuel filter between the tank and carbs.
the filter is in the tank. It's NOT replacable without replacing the whole unit.
