I want to make sure I am not going to imbest in a thouble SV650 frame...

I check and it is not stolen... But a lein on the title could be just as bad right?

The Cops info only checks for stolen vehicles and I check its not stolen...

The DMV will only give me info if I am the owner...

Why is the title not available for your inspection? Ebay?

Lein could be bad if the lein holder reports it stolen since that's what the owner might say if they call him to collect the funds.

Here in Florida we have a Vin check database for leins or stolen bikes, I would think you should have one in AZ, not sure if this will work but you should have something similar;

These are great! I just bought a new SV today (upgraded from an '02 to an '05). I ran the VIN from the title but I can't find the VIN on the bike anywhere. Where is it?
Never mind. I found it on the right side of the steering column. Well OK. Actually my wife found it - by reading the manual (they still make those?)!
