wear gloves if it has sardines and/or garlic in it. Blech.

This was my first time making it, and I made enough for 34 servings for my 25 pound pup, and the cost was $26.26 at the store, plus a few things I had at the house(flax meal, brewers yeast, sunflower seeds, apples, etc)

Definitely seems like the way to go. Thanks Lutias/Looshia!(I think you guys are the ones who brought it up....)

My mother makes food for her dogs. I just get Iams for my Cats, much easier IMHO.

Thanks DM. Every site I read about raw food mentioned using garlic. I don't think its necessary, so I'll cut it out of the next batch. I didn't use much, so I don't think I really need to worry, but I'll keep a close eye on her.

She loves the food though. The 3/4 lb I gave her today disappearing nearly instantly. Tomorrow, its going to be broken into two meals and mixed with a bit of Call of the Wild kibble, and that will continue for the next week, reducing the amount of kibble mixed in. After that, its raw food only.
