Are those the stock Dunlop tires? I believe the lines are just for identification purposes in the factory and warehouse. The markings make it easier to identify which tires are which at a glance.

Exactly this. When tires are on a rack, you can see the tread, not the sidewall. The colored rings on the tread are code for the tire size.
