Im installing a vapor computer, but was wondering what everyone does with the speed senor off the old gauges. Does it serve any purpose as a wheel spacer or can it be completely removed?

No vapor here, but yes, it is a wheel spacer. I know there was someone that sold a spacer to fit if you wanted to replace it, but I can't find it with a quick search on google.

Why not just use it to drive the Vapor instead of adding the Vapor one?
just recalibrate in the set-up on the wheel size for the multiple pulse counts.
You already have the wiring right there to the connector plug anyway .........

I can't speak for the Vapor, but I can for the Acewell computer I installed. The stock speed sensor has 3 wires, where the Acewell computer has 2 wires.
It may be possible to use the 3wires. The SV wiring diagram shows: pink, orange, and ground. New computer just shows: speed+ and speed-. Maybe no need for ground? Or, maybe will not work w/o ground? Anyone every played with this?

The three wires are power, ground & the output signal - not too complicated.
Should pretty much work with ANY speedo that has a calibration capability - they're all the same type of device, Hall effect sensor.
