(QUESTION ANSWERED: THANKS!)

Hopefully I will not have to find out the answer to this question myself, but unfortunately on my last bike, I did it twice (dropping the clutch in first gear at a stop light thinking I was in nuetral). Luckily both times the bike stalled after a lunge forward.

I just want to be prepared in case it happens.

I just bought a 2009 Sv650SF.

The innards of your motor turn into a disgusting slurry of yogurt and tofu with metal parts suspended throughout.

Real answer: nothing. Start it back up and act like you meant to drop the clutch and kill it. ;D

I love it when these threads turn into meaningless rants about nothing. Can make a bad day ok. I always laugh at least.
