I own a Blue 01 SV, since its been cold me and the bike have been spending a lotta time in the garage. An idea hit me last night, how do you guys think it would look if i removed my passenger pegs set up and had them powder coated black? Its probably already been done and discussed on here, but if it was warmer weather I didnt have time to get on and read. I just though it may clean up the lines a lil bit. Just wanted to hear some comments. Thanks guys

Would you paint the rider's pegs too? Is your exhaust stainless steel (silver) or carbon fiber? I have a blue 01 (but svs) as well, and its hard for me to picture this cleaning up the lines unless you also painted the rider's pegs and shift lever/brake/rearsets.

Paint it with that Rhino truckbed liner stuff.

It's black colored, and if it ever gets a scratch (it never specifies in the warranty that you HAVE to use it on a truckbed) they'll cover the costs for the scratch.

Just an idea. Some people use that on a larger scale (the entire bike) but it may be worth it for just the pegs.
