Just thought this would be a cool new topic. If there is already one in existence please let me know so I can delete this one, or a mod can do it. As for me I finished my under tail project and rode the crap out of it.
****!! I thought i got a good deal ($150 with everything in box).Picking up a power commander this evening for a smoking deal. I was against power mods as I feel the bike is plenty fast enough; but shoot, $60? Really, who wouldn't buy a pc3 with all hardware for that? It's okay, you can be jealous. :nana:

Good move!I completely debadged it last night, Got the whole family involved for the last SV650 sticker, My wife was peeling it off, and my son was holding the hair dryer. Looks much better without them, The silver S's came off easier without using heat.
I was really debating leaving the silver S's, but got tired of catching them with rags when cleaning.Good move!
That is the first thing I do on all my vehicles. It really cleans them up imo.
I agree! I f-ed up my Speed III taking off the Triumph stickers on the tank they didn't look like they were clear coated on but low and behold they were! I took just a corner off and I was like FAWK! I got it sanded down and it looked decent....Good move!

but, TBH, it seems like a stupid thing to do. I have no idea why they would do it that way.
Mine (06) stuck up from the surface, almost 1/16, and had som thick doublestick below it.actually, the "S" on my SV's tank is cleared over (2004). I always thought they were all like this.
