Just thought this would be a cool new topic. If there is already one in existence please let me know so I can delete this one, or a mod can do it. As for me I finished my under tail project and rode the crap out of it.

Arafat goes to see a psychic. Says he wants to know ahead of time the day he will die.

The psychic says she sees a Jewish holiday....

Rode to work, rode home, ate lunch, rode to work, rode home!

Ahhhh, what the heck!.......

A guy walks into a bar and orders 15 shots of whiskey in a row, as quick as the bartender lines 'em up, he downs the drinks.

"Boy, you sure can drink fast!" the bartender says.

"You would to, if you only had two dollars"

Repaired and repacked my M4 muffler. I cut about 4" off of the end to get rid of the crash damaged part. Heat cycled the motor a few more times. I should be ready to take the first post-rebuild test ride tonight.

i have taken off my stock exhaust to make way for my new leo vince full system. finally got the rear header bolts off which claimed a u-joint and an adapter. i also just installed some no-cut motosliders for the fully faired sv. And today i took my gsxr forks to the mechanic to get them checked and the seals replaced before i start my front end swap.

Installed an SW motech rack on a k8 ABS and promptly took it off after discovering that the rear shovel is different than 04-06. I re-installed it on my k6 650s, install was a breeze and everything fits perfectly.

Long term solution is to install k6 shovel onto k8 ABS and hope it fits.

Ordered my FE and seat cowl and looking forward to doing the installs. Rode to Quaker Steak and Lube for Bike Night with Hubby and Told him for the millionth time how much I love my SV.

Been riding for a little over a month. Let the dog out this morning, SNOW!

Not the nice kind, that melts when it hits the road either. Drove the cage to work, yuck!

Rode it work for the first time with the new Sargent seat. Initial impressions are:

1. WOW! It is slick - as in my ass almost slid off the thing when I went to put a foot on a peg.

2. I doesn't have the hard edges of the stocker, so should be easier on the bum for longer rides.

3. No issues with scooting up close to the tank, or sliding backwards under acceleration.

4. The coarse "weave" of the cover will be problematic when it gets rained on. It will be impossible to get the water off it with a swipe of the hand, and will result in a wet bottom.

Executive Summary:

Also, traffic sucked today, and I ended up lanesplitting almost the entire way from home to work. Why is this not legal in every state?

Got a ticket on it. I just found out the 4 lanes that leads to my hood is a 50kph, not a 60. Sigh. Dude knocked it down to no points, but still a conviction.

Lets hope my insurance company is sleeping next year.

Also went for a 350 mile ride last Sunday through the canyons of Central and Eastern Oregon. It was my first real ride and it was amazing. Here are our beasts, with mine in the way back.

The older guys on the Duc and the Triumph were extremely fast, the Vstrom and I could barely keep up.

Took bike out from garage and put on rear stand. Put my boots on and sat on bike.

Modified my knee / shin guards so I can still have knee protection with my new boots.

Broke the shears handle when cutting the guard, had to use a saw. :D

Success! ;D

Returned the gloves that didn't fit and mailed my A* boots to A* so they can figure out why the shifter wore through it, not sure if A* will repair or replace them, have to wait and see.

There is a Triumph demo day at OTD in Santa Ana tomorrow, I will go - that's where I bought my SV. I will still go to the demo day in Brea as well, will take pictures. ;)
