Scratch that... I TOTALLY have a great idea for a paint scheme, if you're interested. I'd even be willing to do it for you, if you buy the stuff.

 

I can do creative input. I don't blame you for wanting a professional job done. Once you get the fairings, I'll get some pics of the bike with them on, and can do up a couple ideas I have in my head.

 

Best ride of the year so far. Put on about 150miles of twisties. Stopped a few times to take in the scenery. Here are a few pics

Beautiful day to ride, I think it reached 70. Lots of bikes out.

Took her to the shop to have the engine bolt removed and the fairing bracket put on. Without an air gun and such I could not get the **** thing off.... lol

then on my way, soon realised I had no brake light... stupid pressure switch.:angry1:

but it was good to be back on 2 wheels;D. The new Elka and re-worked front suspension feels fantastic and so do the new brakes.:thumbsup:

I rode around the block a few times...doing lots of burnouts. i'm getting a new tire in the morning.

 

put on evotech tail tidy and suzuki guard/hugger....very happy with the handy work. Not usually a "wrencher", but I guess you gotta start some where.

 

NOTHING its so sad. I went on my first long distance ride to Newport News and she had to spend her first night outside while I was all cosey in an all girls dorm room. Sad.

 

I rode the hell out of my sv today. It was pretty cool to be a guy on a SV keeping up with GSXR 750, 1000, CBR 600 RR's etc on the corners. I definitely am at the limitations of my setup, look fwd to upgrading to a supersport.

-set TPS
-check for exhaust leaks,seal if necessary
-play with PCIII
-remount lower fairings
-mount GoPro wide camera
-play with suspension
-maybe an oil change too

 

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. I rode it 755 miles yesterday, it deserves a rest.

 

Rode with some ocmoto peeps to San Diego to see Jason Britton and his crew. Had a great time!

I put on the lower fairings and wired up the LEDs. Then I took her out for a run. Tomorrow I need to use some JB Weld on one LED pod to hold it as it vibrates loose but that is it.

Now I need my wiring harness to come in so I can wire up my HIDs......

installed a gold DID chain, blead some brake lines and put on some logo's...again this was not my sv...you will all see soon

 

Had my new rear Sport Attack mounted and put it back on the bike today. Cleaned the sprocket up while I had all that off.

 

Spent all day yesterday doing my valve check and the 2nd gen intake cam swap.

A big thanks to IAKAYAK81 who helped me with the swap and let me use his garage and moto stand.

 

Rode 80 miles before the rain started. So nothing special.

 

Went on a Poker run through Temecula and ended at Edison Park in HB, CA.
