Just thought this would be a cool new topic. If there is already one in existence please let me know so I can delete this one, or a mod can do it. As for me I finished my under tail project and rode the crap out of it.

Installed braided line for the rear brake and did the R6 throttle tube mod. It's a subtle difference but I did notice that I didn't have to have my hand cranked as much while traveling at freeway speeds. I think its worth the $12 and the 30min to install it. Oh and I didn't have to cut or modify the tube to get it on. Lastly, installed sliders from motosliders.

Just finished installing the SM type II bars that I picked up from Josh on the forum. Install wasn't too difficult or time consuming, but need to go back and adjust the clutch now. The reduced clearance has also upped the need for new/relocated front signals and a rerouting/adjustment of a few lines.

Installed 1 inch handlebar risers. Other than unbolting the brakeline clamp on the lower triple tree, the clutch and throttle cables we OK, though a bit tighter than stock.

I also moved the wires to the switches behind the forks. I don't know if this was necessary, but am preparing for the eventual change to Renthal or ProTaper bars.

Rode bike to Fry's for an item I ordered wednesday for in-store pickup. Well they tell me that the sale price ends on thursday nite so Fry's will not honor the price that I ordered it for. And I never received a cofirmation email from them as well. That is their policy but without receiving a email from them I feel I got burned. I left the store, didn't buy it. :p

Kinda looks like its going to rain now, and I went back online and found a better deal on what I was looking for, ordered it and I will let it ship (free) to me.

Little stuff. Took off some decals, heat gun and thumbnail to do the deed, WD-40 for the goop it left behind. Added swingarm spool/sliders, even though I plan to continue to lift the bike with the swingarm paddles.
I've had the new bike a month now, a very cool and damp month here in CT, so I cleaned everything I cold clean and checked the tightness of every fastener I could reach. I got a standard set of metric hex wrenches to leave by the bike, and a set of 3/8 socket driven hex wrenches for more serious work.
The frame sliders will go on with the first service. The pigtail for the heated vest will go on sometime soon.

Now I just have to wait for them to be shipped. Might post after I get them if I run into trouble with the install.

Our hearts and prayers go out to the Angels' and the pitcher's family. Age 22, first MLB pitching appearence 6 shut out innings and now gone.

I rode to work on wet streets (24 miles) and kicked up some dirt on the back of the bike... Cleaned that up.

Finally found the coolant overflow bottle (I've had the bike 3 weeks, so I'm still finding out where stuff is...) The bottle was WAY too full, so tomorrow I'm getting out the turkey baster and removing the excess.
