I reset my TPS after I was finally able to figure out how the heck to do it.... I also painted my calipers silver to match bike frame and rims and bled the brakes after reinstalling. I took the bike for a short run but wasn't able to get very far... didn't bleed the brakes enough and it got super cold so it will be a couple days before I can really feel the effects of the TPS but I am excited.

Went home on my lunch break to go and get it. Rode it back to work. Then at 5:00 I rode it back home.

I'm still grinnin;D

Got some Street FX electro pod LEDs, semi black spray paint and a $13.50 tank of gas!!

Gave the SV some love after riding it in rain the last few days. Wash followed by serious wax and buff, polished all the shiny stainless with autosol, cleaned and lubed the chain, and even put on some eBay red aluminum valve stem covers LOL. Then I parked on the road while I swept out the garage.

Straightened my forks in the triples. Pulled the can and midpipe off to start the 'rework.' Determined that my bars are bent, just very slightly. Gathered some parts up to take to the powdercoater.

Dreamed about riding in a month or two.

killed the battery chasing down a faulty ground in the left rear turn signal... took the seats off, charged it, and added a well insulated hot line out to the passenger seat so next time won't be such a hassle. i should just buy a 2nd pig-tail for my battery tender (which is used on my Ninja).

a.s.

Checked tire pressures and oil level, and polished the tank so's I can set the magnetical tank bag on it sans scratches.

washed that baby, and cleaned the chain. was gonna put the bra back on but as much as it rains i heitate. does anyone here know any tricks for drying out a wet tank bra. my bike is not cover and gets wet when it rains. i left the bra on wet a while back and it left paint marks on the tank that i had to sand out.

I finally got around to doing the TPS adjustment, mounting the compressor for my Stebel Nautilus, and I'm on the tail end of the shock swap. (I have it in, just modding the battery compartment to fit)

Tomorrow I'll try to get a socket for the front axle so I can put in my new springs and oil. I tried to break it loose with a bolt head in there backwards, but it's REALLY tight.

Put on some Motrax CF bar ends, and had to mill down the bottoms of them so they butted up properly against the helibars. Actually really like them as they have genuine CF bands around them. Pretty subtle upgrade to the look of the bike. Oh and I rode it a lot today!
