Got the oil changed and chain tension adjusted, then made a few deliveries. (PostMates Fleet member, for a little extra cash.)

Removed all of my track parts to street my SV for the first time since I bought her in 2009. Though, I’m pretty sure I’ll have to swap out the race slicks too. Just haven’t gotten there yet.

What did we do to the Canadien Bee, basically got her ready for the track. (2002)

New tires front and back
Changed fork oil
Braided lines front and back
Oil and filter change
Air filter change
Chain and spocket
Removed turn signals
New brake pads front and back
Steering dampner
Radiator flush and Water Wetter added
Safety wired a lot of the important parts

Things still needed are spark plugs, carbs cleaned and gone over, throttle sync, swing arm overhaul, oil pump upgrade to metal gear, add external fuel filter, key less fuel cap.

Today and tomorrow I'm fabricating two mounting brackets out of 6061 Aluminum to mount an ohlins steering damper above my top triple. Then i'll send them out to be powder coated the same color as my frame.

Well. Not today, but dropped it after it hit patch of loose debris in a slow right turn. Thankfully no lasting damage and only barely scuffed the fairings (and my pride), only real damage is the rear brake pedal. So a shiny folding new one from EMGO awaits installation this weekend! And, tbh, I think it looks way better.

Decided to cut exhaust DIY. Bosch Grinder and Bosch 18v drill and Kennedy Rivet gun and some spraypaint. Exhaust was so damn long and have been irritating me since day 1.Went and cut it half of the total length. I think it looks cute and it sounds 100x better. Can see in my avatar how short it is.

Well didn't do today, but did over the summer.

Was gonna powdercoat them (have 3 sets), but found some 2 part epoxy ceramic engine spray paint on Eastwood.com and gave it a whack. Paint laid out real nice, dried to the touch rather quickly. 1 set of rim used up 2/3's of a can in 2 coats. Masking was a PITA though.

Still have to do the 3rd set this spring. Graphics were from Motoinkz. Decent quality decal film, just slow on shipping.

Since we are talking SV wheels, here's one I recently powder coated and used for something other than the front of a SV -

Picked up this set of MV leathers cheap off of CL. Don't fit me, but I had a plan for them...

Went ahead and ordered the headlight relay kit from Eastern Beaver. I never would have learned about them if it wasn't for my incessant lurking around here.
