Well there’s a first for everything. In all my years of riding motorcycles and adjusting chains I never had an axle nut get tighter when I tried to loosen it. Yes I used a torque wrench, did not over torque the nut and strip the threads. I was done messing around broke out the welder and fixed it! Now I need to get a new axle and nut.... I'll inspect the bearings, etc...

Rode it this weekend, and the starter solenoid STB, so this morning I glanced forlornly at it while walking the dog and am working from home. New (used) solenoid is on it way.

Using a diagram from this forum , I decided to try and convert my track SV to keyless ignition. Only users the switch now. Fairly straight forward with access to the wiring being the most difficult part.

Fitted a keyless fuel cap. Waiting for my R6 throttle tube to arrive. Having to twist the throttle an unnatural amount on the track was hurting my wrist. I'd post pics but don't have enough posts yet. :(

Blew the cob webs off after it sat for a month.
Checked tire PSI, WD40 the chain, and went for
a night ride. Couldn't locate any tags! You would
think after 100 miles of urban riding, I would have
found at least one!

Tomorrow it gets too hot to ride again. Can't wait
for winter!

Got back from my first motorcycle camping g trip

I remember when my son and I went camping in the rain.
We were the only people at the KOA in a tent!

I can't wait until it cools down and do it again! :vroom:

Technically yesterday..but took her for a 150 mile trip to see some friends.

80-85mph on the Interstate. Didn't skip a beat. Think I got more than 50mpg too.

That stock seats gotta go. Or I need to find another bike for distance [emoji848]

Scuffed in a new set of Dunlop Q3+'s. Went for a 45 mile ride then back to my neighborhood and hit the roundabout. Started out wide and got tighter left then switch turning right. Rear is done The front has a little more work. My neighbors probably were thinking I lost my mind going around in circles.

My initial thoughts on the new tires, AWESOME! Can't wait to get to the mountains in Sept for some fun.
