Tried to take pictures of it in the City, but all I have is Milwaukee. (so sad)

Put a linear Ohlins steering damper on the SV today. Gonna test it out at the track this weekend.

Took her for a nice, long ride.

I think she was getting jealous from me working on the Magna.

Awesome! I'd like to see the progress coming along
(not in this thread) on the Magna!

Also put 390 miles on it between yesterday, and today.
Would have gotten more in today, but I beat the storms
coming home! Over 1,000 a month this bike really has me
enjoying riding once again! :vroom:

Was yesterday, not today...

Took the bike out for the first time in two years. Was supposed to go get a 2016 safety inspection but ended up stranded. Battery died. The battery was on a tender the whole time, too. The bike was sputtering like a plug was bad and I also noted the horn stopped working (that's a fail for the safety inspection). My wife came with the jumper cables. I let the bike sit for maybe 5 min with the two vehicles connected and then cranked the bike. It no longer sputtered, not even after the cables were removed. The horn also started working. It was a totally different bike after the jump, which is odd.

I got a new battery today, a TX14 (was using a BS-12 before that). The bike acted fine.

Oh, and the rear brake pedal bottoms out without any braking whatsoever. I'll bleed them today.

Finished coverting clipons to Renthal Street bars. Getting new Dunlop Q3's next week. Race Shop rebuild front shocks with new springs, emulators, etc. week after that. Then a track day in October I hope.

Washed the commute gear. Rinsed a lot of fine black dust down the drain...

I found a Power Commander V on ebay for $150 and I couldn't pass on it. Got it Saturday and installed in about 45 minutes. I have a Leo Vince highmount and K&N filter so the website map matched my setup pretty well. Smoothed out the entire fueling range but the biggest improvement was the mid range pull. Big difference. Maybe next year I'll get a custom map done but for right now it's all good!
