Finished up repairing my fairings. The process went better then expected! Cracks are fixed and scraps are now gone. Next step is painting. Trying to decide on keeping with the same color or switching the entire bike to a new color. The tanks paint needs some love as well as it has some minor scratches. Guess I now have to make up my mind.

If you can swing it, my personal experience says new color. I love the '09 blue, but it's apparently a ridiculously hard color to match. I've decided that if I need to paint again, I'm going the 2010 Canadian white with the dark blue stripes.

I have heard that too. I love the color and just can't see it looking good in any other color. Been toying around with black. I think a nice shiny black would look nice. I don't want to do white because my car and truck are both white.

I still have to get/repair the top fairing. So will most likely have to paint that as well. So that is pretty much half the bike being painted. So I guess I can find an excuse to delay painting for a little longer.

Decisions deductions.

Checked the air pressure in the tires.

Fitted some new levers as the stock ones were beat up by the previous owner dropping the bike. Peeled the PO's plastidip off the tank to reveal the beautiful yellow paint as well. ;)

:needpics: :D

Haha.. alright alright..

Here's a teaser. I have to take more pictures now that it's all off and I have the levers installed. But it's a work in progress. PO left it outside a bit..

After not riding since Monday before last, I commuted to work on it today. Yay!

Waited for the "nope it's not Winter" snow.

Where is my :cussing: Global Warming!

I wish I could commute to work but these 40 mph winds all week have prevented that. It's warm enough to ride but the EF-1 speed winds are not fun to ride in.
It certainly has made my week interesting!!!

We have 20mph with 30-35mph gusts and I am cruising I-20 at 20% lean! :)

Winds 35 to 45 mile per hour with gusts to 55 miles per hour coming home had fun, but was weaving like a drunken sailor. Had to tear off a garbage bag that got caught on the handlebars. 75 degrees, with a chance of snow tonight.

Just went outside, it's raining ash particles, and the smoke from a range fire has blocked out the sun. Fire is 60 miles away.
