Bloody freaking a! I rode to work this morning. Went to crank up the sv for the ride home and it won't start. Battery died while trying to start. Tried bump starting it (thank goodness for parking decks - they have nice long slopes for bump starting solo) and it wouldn't even try to turn over. Grrrrr!

Now I'm at work having to wait for my husband to bring the horses in for the farrier, find the ramps, unload the hay from the pickup bed, and then come get me. Ugh! Stuck at work for another two hours at least.

hi Liren!

Ran hot water over a towel so I could get the frost off my seat, then rode it down the highway and froze my ass off. I'm ordering grip heaters today.
get one of those cheap $20 chinese covers... they keep dust or frost off rather well.... but wait to put it back on... they say the bottoms are heat resistant.... but nope.. they melt when in contact with the muffler... but for $20 what do you expect... but it is better than sitting on a frosty seat..

I've got a nice Nelson Rigg cover, just keep forgetting to put it on when I know I'll be hopping back on in the morning. So I get to find fun little tricks to defrost my bike before the 22F commute. F*ck it was cold, and totally worth it.

I just ride my toasty seat out no defrosting needed :nana:.. the underground parkade is about 20-25 degrees for some reason... so the morning ride is nice.... that is unless there is snow.. and then I have to strap on the cage

Absolutely nothing ... calculated wind chill @ 65mph as -16F ... so I took the truck to work ... ok so I am not the adventurous type :D

Get youself some wool mits/undergear/socks etc... and scarf (oddly enough wool seems to work better than many high-tech materials), put a some sort of windbreak over it and you're good to go... plus if you get the michelin man parka you can run into trucks and bounce off with little damage to yourself... ;D (disclaimer: it would be best to avoid testing that theory in reality)

Put on a oil pressure gauge. After I read in here about how if the dummie lights up then it is close to damages already in place. I had one sitting on the shelf from the last toy car, pressure seems a tad low but I know when the sending unit sits I have always had to replace it.

My supertrapp will be on tomorrow I hope to get it on and get a pic. I am thinking about cerama coating the exhaust.

More snow coming tonight. I may role it outside to get the Stabil in in the snow tomorrow and then put it on stands. My Ohlins shock showed up this week, schaweet!

I parked the truck in front of it, blocking it into the garage, like I have done for a month and will do for the next 3-4 months.

Rode to the beach this morning, I saw a lot of bikes heading north on PCH, heading to the Motorcycle show in Long Beach.

We are having our family (aunts, uncles, cousins & friends) xmas party today, yay!

Painted my headers and mid pipe flat black, went through my headlight setup and soldered and heatshrinked all of the wires, then put about 120 miles on it to bake/cure the exhaust paint, looks super sweet with the stainless clamps and polished pipe!
