Are you replacing it or was that for making your bike lighter?

I looked at it, was raining today in CA. Waiting for my front stand so I can replace my front tire.

 

Got my glass mirror mailed today (was broken) replaced it and installed the bar end mirrors. Also got in the mailed my new teknic jacket from newenough!

teknic stuff is pretty good, and newenough frequently has it on closeout. I've got a teknic mesh jacket that I got for $50 a couple of years ago, and recently got this jacket for only $99 to wear when the weather isn't hot enough for mesh. A good jacket - LOTSA pockets, quite warm, great armor...I'm not 100% happy about the way it fits, but I'm ok with it considering the phenomenal deal I got on it.

 

Geared up and rode to dinner with some friends...cant believe how warm its been in Denver.

 

I rode it back to work after my lunch.
Felt nice to ride it, although its always a trip switching between the DRZ and the SV.

I can't believe it, it's 70F here. I stayed up late today (I work nights) and changed the oil, clean and lubed the chain, checked the tire pressures, and checked the coolant. Plan on riding it to work tonight.

 

It is 45 in Wisconsin!! ;D Too bad my bike is in pieces, paint wont be done for a week or two. Hoping to get my GSXR 1000 shock from the UPS guy this afternoon.

 

I'd like to note that its 37°F here today.

 

Installed some Vandriver billet reservoirs on my wife's SV

 

Bought some lights for my undertray and my Monster windscreen came today. Now just need to get it all to fit together.

Went for a ride around the neighborhood. It felt so good to be out on the SV. First time since November.

 

Four months without a single ride? I'd go NUTS!

 

I'm up in Canuckland and I still get out whenever I can... which has not been a whole lot this winter... but I've at least got a few days here and there every month... I don't care about the cold... it's the snow and Ice on the roads... gravel I can navigate but ice is a no go for me..... now... if this d a m n snow would go away I could ride -15c is not that bad..... this year it warms up for a few days.. for the roads to be a slimey mess with black ice under spots but just as the roads dry enough so I can get out again it dumps another load of snow...

it never snows this much... what the hell is it this year?

 

Searched for my bike key. Put her back together.....again...

;D Then rode the bike to work this morning!

 

Continued the search for more stuff to customize my SV. Gonna order some Pazzo's and Watsens signals later today... Just another thing that will be waiting to be installed when I return from overseas.

First ride today!!! Put on a quick 100km around town and the coast and went for lunch.

Took some pictures on my newly powder coated rear sets and levers. Cleaned and oiled the chain after the ride.

installed the CA integrated taillights that I got for xmas, and de-winterized it!

Just got back from a short ride to pick up a few splices for some wiring. Also got my windscreen mounted in the fairing, and the fairing on the bike.

 

Got a present from the UPS guy today, GSXR 1000 shock;D will be installing on sunday

 

i rode it! did about 30 miles or so. beautiful weather, just the 25* temps get old pretty quick. sunny though!

 

finaly got out for a decent 325 mile ride, first out of stater of the year. roads were pretty nice, got down to 45 at the end of the ride.
