My horn screwed itself loose and rattled against my radiator until it started leaking. Replaced the radiator with a delkevic radiator and I'm keeping the fairings off because I think I'll do a valve clearance check while everythings off. Hard to believe just two years ago I knew nothings about mechanic work. Slowly but surely I've learned how to replace brakes, brake fluid, tps adjustment, coolant, rear shock, front fork oil and springs, and now I can add radiator replacement to the list! Feels good now that the bikes no longer a mystery box that turns fuel into fun and noise.;D;D

The Buell. Which is awesome, because OEM Buell parts are readily available and totally inexpensive these days. :eyeroll: To be fair, the caretaker of a hubby in me would always prefer bad stuff happen to mine than Steph's, I always feel way worse when her stuff gets damaged.

I'm covering everything for now to get it rideable again. He offered to take care of it, he's a good guy. I'm not stressing much about it, it really wasn't that bad. Frustrating, though.

What did I do to my SV? I Bought it! Well, technically it was yesterday but I've owned it for less than 24 hours so I say it counts. Unfortunately it has to sit in the garage for a few days because I can't make it to the DMV for the title transfer/registration until Thursday.

This is my first bike, so I might be sleeping in the garage the next week or so.
:laughing4:

I feel your pain. I need to hit the DMV as well. New front tire wont be here till Wed so I'll be in the garage the next few nights making vr00m noises :icon_biggrin:

my latest additions did all myself except tires:
-new clutch cable
-new brake pads
-new tires (pilot road4)
-racetech springs
-cogent ddc
-ohlins rear shock
-corbin seat

on the way (1-2 weeks):
-s to n bar conversion
-delkevic 14 inch slipon

hehe starting to like the bike

how is the clutch feel. Mine is like an on off switch. Also I work in Uniontown (across from NAPA) and I ride my SV to work often.
Homie!:) Clutch feels great...seems a multi-plate type can't work the way it's supposed to when it's wobbling around. Very smooth and progressive now...especially noticeable when/if it gets hot. Got stuck in a traffic jam on 166 from Carmichaels to Point Marion where all the residents put out all their junk and everyone from miles around converges to wander around in a big flea market free for all. Was going insane....slipping, slipping, slipping...get it engaged...then slow down and slip some more. With 18/40 gearing...it needs to be going about 14 mph to get the clutch out, so it really got a workout. The beefed up Werks basket did the job though! Before it would have been getting really raggedy and I've even stalled it when it grabbed...but smooth and progressive to the end now.

I work at D&M Trucking over in Oliver...so just a stones throw (well...long stone) away. NEVER ride the bike to work because it's too dirty for it and at the end of a long day wrestling with diesels I'm in no mood to try to ride the snorty beasty. We need to ride sometime.:)

Well, I haven't done it YET.... But I have a zipper pull to fix on my jacket this weekend...

Removed all turn signals, removed tail light, cut out my BackOff modulator getting ready for my new signals, headlight, and integrated tail light. Yay!
