Got it inspected. It's been a couple years since I took the time to take it in for annual inspection. This is the first season in quite awhile that it's looking like I can ride a little bit.
Come on summertime!

cut a 4" piece off of an extra handle handle bar laying around and put it in my bar risers (running clip-ons right now) so i can still mount my garmin.

I changed the Oil on it AND last week I picked up a 'in town' bike for putt putting around....

1982 XS650 Heritage Special.

Apologies for the fuzziness of pic. Just excited, i guess!

Planned updates: Progressive Fork Springs, Superbike style handlebar and modern rear shocks (think CB1000).

NICE! Looks clean & comfy.

Yesterday: Parked at the gym and next to me parked my cousin. I helped him install that upper fairing when he got his bike, the stock one was destroyed. (The car on the other side of my bike parked way over the line. I don't even know how they opened their door without hitting my bag)

Today: Drove to work so far... going to the gym after work. Maybe another bike will park next to me!?

^^^ Output shots??
If I had a fancy camera and knew what I was doing with the adjustments I would try to get some, but i think my phone automatically adjusts for light output and that would skew the visible results. I will say that it was a dramatic change in light output and I no longer mind how much I spent on this upgrade.

To the gentleman asking about the bucket, it's the OEM unit that came on my naked SV1k with a JW Speaker 8700/Harley Daymaker unit inside of it. I plan on doing a write up soon.

Just gonna leave this as a teaser...

Aftermarket or H-D branded? I was actually thinking about those as a possible future upgrade - very interested to hear about output/pattern vs stock.

J.W. Speaker. They're the company who produces it for Harley. J.W. doesn't sell directly, you have to go through one of their vendors. You'll also need parts from the side mount bucket which adds a good chunk of change to the swap. Sent an email to J.W. asking if they'd be interested in selling just the parts we need in the future as a Suzuki fitting kit.
